Frequently Asked Questions
  • How much does it cost to publish a book on Amazon?
    It doesn't cost anything to upload your book onto the Amazon platform. You only pay for the books that you order which can either be as author copies, which is the cheapest or you can set the price at the cheapest possible price and purchase them yourself using your Amazon account (this particularly makes sense if you have an Amazon Prime account as it will be cheaper than purchasing a single book as an author copy).
  • How much do author copies cost?
    It does depend on your marketplace but it is $2.15 in the US, £1.70 in the UK and €1.90 in the EU for each book which makes it the perfect option when you only need a few books. You will then have to pay shipping on top. In the UK, this is approx £3.80 for 10 books and £5.05 shipping for 20 books.
  • How long will it take to get my books
    It usually takes about 1-3 days for your book to become live on Amazon and then if you order author copies it can take 5-7 days to get your books, but if you order your book using Amazon Prime, it can come next day (but you do pay more for your book).
